Dr. Anthony W. Bailey is married to Lady Andrea-Wright Bailey and they have two sons, Brandon and Nicholas. He is the son of Helen J. Bailey.
He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Religion & Philosophy from Stillman College, Tuscaloosa, AL; a Master's in Leadership and a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Leadership. Dr. Bailey completed a Doctoral degree in Ministry with emphasis in Biblical Theology and Spiritual Formation all respectfully from Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary in May 2017.
Dr. Bailey is the Senior Pastor of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Raleigh, North Carolina. He additionally appreciates an effective career as a life coach and educator. He has proceeded his passion in teaching. In the past, he has worked with churches assisting with the service ministry of Evangelism and Spiritual Church Growth.
Dr. Bailey is affiliated with the Wake Missionary Baptist Association, the North Carolina Progressive State Fellowship, and the Progressive National Baptist Convention, Inc. In addition, he is also an affiliate of NAACP, AmeriCorps (Corporation for National Community Service); National Association of Christian Ministers, American Association of Christian Counselors, and the American Academy of Religious Students, and a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.
Pastor Bailey trusts everything is conceivable to the individuals who have faith in God and lives on the principal "blessed to be a blessing". The beneficiary of many respects, awards, and honors, yet his heart stays concentrated on his call to serve God and humanity, not fame nor fortune. He genuinely pastors from the heart and does what he can to help any in need. His focus is to remain an unassuming disciple of Jesus Christ who proclaims hope and promotes transformation through the endeavors of collaboration and solidarity with all humanity.
